Day -4

This was a rough day. Chloe is having a lot of nausea and has thrown up a couple of times, which seems to really scare her. They have been giving her medication for the nausea all along and today we tried two new ones, with some success. The in-house physical therapist came to visit this afternoon and worked with Chloe for about half an hour. She still loves having new people come to see her. I was able to go for a quick walk outside!

Chloe also received her first blood transfusion today. Her red blood cell count was a little low so she needed a boost. She was a bit fussy in the evening after the transfusion and might have had a small allergic reaction to it. We gave her some Benadryl (which also is supposed to work for nausea in little ones) and she slept well.
