At our weekly Tranplant clinic visit, Chloe received what should be her last scheduled dose of immune boosting IV medicine. She has already been weaned off of the two oral immunosuppressants and her methadone (for the morphine dependance). We are basically back to our pre-transplant medication regimen.
They tested her immunity levels and they came back normal. It means that her own immune system is recovering from all the chemotherapy, transplant, and immune suppressants (to make her not reject the transplant). This is unusal for such a short time after transplant but it is excellent news. Chloe certainly is amazing! Because we could be done with the IV medications, the IV shunt in her arm might come out soon. When it does, she'll be able to go swimming again, something we are all looking forward to.

Here's one from her actual birthday.
