Day +28

A quick entry to let you know that Chloe is doing better and is under wonderful, dedicated, and enthusiastic care. She has already reduced some of the fluid and is feeling more comfortable, regaining some of her energy and personality. She faces a difficult road and the doctors are still very concerned about her condition, but we do find a steady stream of optimistic moments and events and are confident that she will continue to improve.

She will remain in ICU for the time being. Even that is becoming better as we "train" our new team of nurses and grow confident in their care for her. We both feel able to leave her for short periods to eat and/or sleep.

Immense gratitude to all for your continued thoughts and prayers. Team Chloe is large and powerful and we will never be able to really tell you how much you have helped her and us.
